- 2010-2013 - Deputy Permanent Representative, Pakistan Mission to the United Nations in Geneva;
- 2007-2010 - Counsellor, Embassy of Pakistan, Beijing;
- 2001-2006 - Served at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs including as Director, Deputy Director, Deputy Director;
- 1998-2001 - Second Secretary, Pakistan Mission to the United Nations in New York;
- In 1993 joined the Foreign Service of Pakistan
