Passport of Cyprus

The passport is valid for 10 years. There is also an electronic, machine-readable version of the document. In Cyprus it is issued by Civil Registry and Migration Department, Ministry of the Interior;, whereas in other countries the issuing authority is Embassies and High Commissions of the Republic of Cyprus. The passport of the current format is rather old. It has been in use for 14 years, since 12 December 2010.
