Denmark view

Denmark is famous for its high standard of living, convenient legislation for holdings. Many immigrants worldwide are dreaming to obtain a Danish Passport. The Scandinavian country is one of the most developed in Europe. All this attracts the attention of not only investors but also ordinary people who are looking for a comfortable home.

Residence permit in Denmark

To come to Denmark, you first need to have a visa. It is a member of the Scandinavian Passport Union and Schengen and requires a Schengen visa or a special national visa to enter. A visa is issued for a different period and for a maximum of a year with a permit to stay in the Schengen countries for no more than 90 days in 180 days.

However, it should be said right away: neither a tourist nor a business visa allows you to come and deal with the issues of obtaining a residence permit. To do this, you must have other reasons, and if you are suspected of wanting to remain under a temporary visa, you will be punished, up to and including imprisonment. However, if you have come to the country, found a future employer, or studied the possibilities of starting a startup, then after leaving the country, you can begin the process of obtaining the appropriate permits.

If you already have a passport of a European country or a residence permit in the EU, then in the first case, you have every right to come and live/work in Denmark, and in the second – to stay up to 90 days in six months, as with a Schengen visa.
