Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary posted to Austria at the Republic of Turkey Confederation embassy is His Excellency (H.E.) Mr. Mehmet Ferden Carikci

During his career Mr. Mehmet Ferden Carikci has served in various capacities, among them:

In 1993, he entered the Ministry of Foreign Affairs as a candidate.

In 2010–2011, he worked as head of the translation department, from 2011–2012 he was deputy general director for contracts, and from 2010–2013 he was chief envoy for the presidency. He was also a member of the Foreign Policy Advisory Council in 2012–2013.

August 22, 2013 - November 7, 2016 as the date of the Turkish Ambassador to the United Nations Office at Geneva served as a permanent representative in the eyes.

He became ambassador to Austria on July 4, 2017, In January 2019, he returned to headquarters. He was appointed Chief Adviser to the President of the Republic of Turkey on February 1, 2019. He speaks English, German, French and Italian, is married and has one child.
