Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary posted to Austria at the Federative Republic of Brazil embassy is Her Excellency (H.E.) Mrs. Heidi Alberta Hulan
Heidi Alberta Hulan joined the Department of Foreign Affairs and International Trade in 1996. She has worked in a variety of assignments including Policy Advisor to the Foreign Minister, Deputy Director of the International Commission on Intervention and State Sovereignty, Director of the Peacebuilding and Human Security Division, Director Non-Proliferation and Disarmament Division, Director General Non-Proliferation and Security Threat Reduction, and most recently as Director General, International Security Policy.
Minister Counsellor and Head of Political Section at Canada's Permanent Mission to the UN in New York City and was Deputy Permanent Representative of Canada to NATO from 2010-2013.

When you are visiting the Immigration Section, you must present an invitation letter from the Immigration Section requesting you to come in person. When you visit the Embassy, you must also present an original ID document with a photograph.
The International Experience Canada program provides opportunities for Austrian and Canadian youth to obtain temporary work permits in the partner country. Similar exchanges are possible from 18 to 30 years through the Working Holiday Program.
Canada and Austria share lot of common interests and similar perspectives on global issues and challenges. Austria is an important partner for Canada, and the two countries work together on a range of issues, particularly human rights and the law.
