How to get a visa

  • Travel medical insurance with coverage of at least EUR 30,000 is required.

A residence permit in Malta

After you get a visa to enter this country, you still have to do other things, like get a residence permit, which can be temporary or permanent. MIIP program

The Malta Individual Investor Program (MIIP), as it is known, lets Indian citizens do business in Malta, become citizens, and get a second passport with a number of important benefits, such as the right to travel freely in more than 160 countries around the world. The MIIP application isn’t hard to fill out, but it’s important to know that the Maltese government has the power to check people from India who want to move to Malta through this program through Interpol and the International Criminal Court. As part of the application, you also need a certificate from the police. In terms of investments, Indians who move to Malta must buy a property worth at least EUR 350,000 or rent a house for at least one year with a lease of EUR 16,000 to join the Malta Individual Investor Program. Indians can take part in the whole program with their whole families, but they must make separate contributions for each person.
