For travel to France, Afghan nationals must get a tourist visa. There are eight steps in the process of obtaining a Schengen visa for France.
- Get a passport and other supporting documents for a France tourist visa.
- Verify that your Afghan passport is still valid at least six months after you arrive here.
- Apply for a new Afghan passport if necessary.
- complete the France application.
- Submit your application, passport, and fee to the French embassy.
- If your France visa application is approved, you’ll receive an email and a passport sticker.
- Pick up your passport from the embassy
- Give the French immigration official your Afghan passport when you arrive.
