Retirement visa 

Senior citizens from India who wish to retire in Belgium must seek a Type D long-stay resident status. You must demonstrate that you can sustain yourself without employment if you want to retire here.

This can be accomplished by supplying bank or retirement papers. You must also submit a letter outlining your motivations for moving to Belgium. Those who can prove they have connections to Belgium are prioritized. Duly filled application forms, current passports, medical certificates, criminal records, and fee payment receipts are all required.

You might be eligible for permanent resident status in Belgium after five years of stay there. If you meet specific requirements, you will also be entitled to qualify for citizenship. Both of these provide you with the same rights as other citizens.
