Hungary visa from Afghan citizens

Work visa

  • Single request process for the citizens of a third country who may reside in Hungary for a period longer than 3 months but less than 180 days.
  • Seasonal work visa: A work permit and a seasonal employment visa are required for anyone engaged in farming, gardening, livestock farming, or fisheries.
  • Schengen corporate visa for individuals visiting a Schengen nation for a brief business trip. 
  • Professional Schengen card for anyone visiting the country in search of temporary work. 

A request application charge of €80 (7031 AFN) for grownups and €40 (3515 AFN) for youngsters is required, though it may be reduced in some exceptional cases. 

Permanent residency

After getting any type of work visa, an individual can apply for permanent residency. 

You can enter the country with a permit obtained at the embassy for one year. The validity of this card is 30 days from the date of entry into the Schengen region. You must visit the Hungarian Passport Center in person throughout this time to obtain the permanent Schengen Residency Card and to set up the Residence Record. 

Afghani nationals can apply for a residency permit at the Hungarian Passport Department in the second year. You must provide evidence of your job (working pass or work agreement), as well as your housing.

Immigration card 

Those who have lived consistently in the nation for at least three years are eligible to apply for an immigration card. Additionally, the individual presently living in the country and has not left the country for more than three months in a single year.
