Usually, overseas people must request a Schengen permit to enter Slovakia. The Schengen visa permits its bearer to travel within the Schengen Zone Participating Countries for various reasons, including leisure, seeing acquaintances and family, and so on. It could be for a single, couple, or three applications. This sort of permit allows you to stay in the Euro Zone for no more than three months in any designated period. The Schengen permit, in particular, cannot be used for work or any other profit-oriented purpose. Utilizing a Visa calculator, we suggest calculating the length of visit in Schengen nations and verifying conformity with the 90/180 norm.

Getting a VISA

The visa request is filed on an authorized registration paper to the Slovak Nation’s Foreign Office in the nation where the candidate lives or holds nationality. You must present the visa request in person at least six months before the scheduled travel to Slovakia.

Traveling Healthcare Insurance

Any expenditures incurred due to deportation for healthcare concerns, emergency clinical assistance, or immediate medical services must be covered by your insurance company. All Schengen Participating Countries must accept the insurance. EUR 30 000 in insurance is required as a basic.

Submit the visa fee

The required visa fee in Slovakia is €80. You submit it when you are invited for an interview in an embassy to start your visa procedure. Also, make sure that you submit the visa application and fees almost six months before your actual visit so that the embassy can thoroughly verify the documents.
